Prvního boston teriéra jsem si pořídila domů spíš náhodou - kdy jako milovník velkých psů, jsem hledala psa vhodného do bytu - tedy menšího tělem, ale velkého duší a sportovce... A tak jsem listovala a listovala atlasem psů a zvažovala který....  Zaujal mě boston teriér a začala jsem shánět informace, protože bostonský terier byl a pořád je - u nás málopočetné plemeno. No a na jaře r. 1999 už jsem měla doma bostonského teriéra Reggiho, jinak COLOMBO Krásná fanfára (*24.11.1998 - nevěnovali jsme se výstavám ani bonitaci-neuchovněn- opustil nás po roční nemoci dne 17. 10. 2007 na Cushing syndrom ) s tetovacím číslem 149 a nestačila jsem se divit co „malývelký“ Boston Terrier (bostonský teriér) dokáže.
